If you want to, when the tomatoes get to be a good size, still green but not too hard, you could fry them! Just slice them and dip them in either flour and cornmeal and fry them in very hot oil, they are good! :-) You might already do this, but you see why people started doing this, good way to eat these late tomatoes!
