  1. I always think of Stephen King's It. I wouldn't say I'm scared of clowns at all, but King's excellent writing and Tim Curry's great acting made that clown something that could give me nightmares

  4. The only clowns that I and my family have ever loved were "Bozo" (Bob Bell) and "Weary Willie" (Emmett Leo Kelly)...they will always be favorites in our family~

  6. Funny, isn't it? I think that it is all because of Stephen King, I think that is when the clowns started getting scary. Shame really, they had been so popular for years.
    Could be why the Red Nose Day didn't do so well in America!

    1. You're right. Clowns are supposed to be funny. But I do remember being afraid of Santa Clause when I was a baby. I cried.
