Another Treatment

Tomorrow I go for another Intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) treatment.  It takes about 4 hours.  I feel stronger so it's definitely worth it.  Luckily it is covered by my insurance.

Here's a short video about CIDP.

  1. I know nothing about this condition. Are these treatments going to be for a short time or are they a lifelong thing? Is the condition temporary or permanent? I believe you mentioned it before but my old brain does not always retain.

    1. It's a lifelong condition. I've had this treatment only once before and it gave me bad headaches for a week so I'm a little nervous.

    1. Thanks Debra. At first I thought I only imagined getting better but my wife says she noticed an improvement.

    1. Thanks Nancy. Without the insurance I would not be able to afford it.
