Plowing Through Life: Remembrance Day
Sharing my thoughts, feelings, and experiences.
The picture with the solitary soldier standing in the field of poppies gave me a chill. I wish we would not only remember but that the whole world would try harder to keep this from happening over and over.
ReplyDeleteThe world needs cooperation instead of conflict.
DeleteThat is a truly poignant image of the soldier surrounded by Flander's poppies.
ReplyDeleteI really, really hope that some day Remembrance Day/Veteran's Day is a historical anomaly.
Loved the sond too - 'I know you're hurting, but so am I....'
I hope so too.
DeleteWhen I stumbled across that image, it gave me chills. We must always remember, so we don't make the same mistakes over and over again.
ReplyDeleteAnd the song is great, isn't it?
Thanks for the mention!
It's my pleasure. I love your two blogs.
DeleteWonderful imagine of the soldier in the poppy field...and yes, we remembered.
