Went for My IVIG Treatment Today

It took four hours to inject immune globulin to treat my CIDP.  I spent the time on line with my laptop. It wasn't too bad except for all the time it took.  I have this treatment once every three weeks.

Hopefully it will restore my energy and strength so I'll be able to post more often; and do more of what I want to do without falling.

  3. Let's hope the gamma treatment does make you feel stronger, and it would be a pain in the neck sitting there waiting, but that's life and you have your laptop so you are making the best of your situation.
Good luck with it all. I'm sure it will help, the treatment that is :)

  4. As Margaret said, you are making the best of the situation by having something to do while you are getting the treatment. I hope the IVIG helps. As I mentioned awhile ago, my cousin is getting this as well. She has to go every week for it to be helpful. When they tried to cut back her treatments she lost a lot of function. Her neurologist lobbied for more frequent treatments and her function came back. Hoping for the best for you, John.
