Religions seem to be an ancient, confused mishmash of hope rather than reality.Mulled Vinehttp://mulledvine.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4711916520510176931.post-75942607159787705592014-03-05T09:50:13.733-05:002014-03-05T09:50:13.733-05:00But... if we are *a part* of this God/Force/Nature...But... if we are *a part* of this God/Force/Nature to start with... why would we stop existing?Rianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09472421271620543536noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4711916520510176931.post-11242133080024106962014-03-04T18:33:17.894-05:002014-03-04T18:33:17.894-05:00It seems as if it would be a waste for all our har...It seems as if it would be a waste for all our hard-earned wisdom to just . . . disappear . . . along with the rest of our consciousness. But our logic may not be that of the cosmos that created us. I suspect (somewhat sadly) that when we die, we're about as dead as a slow rabbit on a two-lane road.Junehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11710135137635433217noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4711916520510176931.post-87037209757952326732014-03-04T09:43:18.038-05:002014-03-04T09:43:18.038-05:00It seems strange if nature/God would create a bein...It seems strange if nature/God would create a being who is aware/conscious then just let it stop existing. Otherwise why not just let us function without being conscious? <br />A computer can play chess but it is not aware of it. But I think the soul (or again- whatever you want to call that part of us that is also a part of God/Force/Nature - perhaps *the God particle*) goes on. How it goes on or in what form, again I wouldn't know. Is this "faith" or even perhaps "hope"? Maybe... Rianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09472421271620543536noreply@blogger.com
