Improvement of Water

Evolution of modern man, the last two men are today's humans. It's starting to lead to the example on the right for most people, drinking water contaminated with sugar and other chemicals. Natural water has a chance of being contaminated. Adding a chemical disinfectant will help make it safer. Filters remove most impurities. Purified water in a container may be the best, if you can trust the manufacturers. The future?

Opera Aficionado

I'm still trying to install the hand controls on my car. When I get down low I get woozy and fall over sometimes before I can work on the pedals. Also I have to get the strength to hand tighten the attachments to the pedals. I ran out of energy. I'll try again in a few days. Here is a dog who loves the opera. I found this on the web. I was not able to copy it on to this post but here's the link. Enlarge the image to better see the dog's expressions. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=dog+sings+along+with+pavarotti

“If you believe that, I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell to you” George Parker

When I found this picture of a can of "Dehydrated Water" it reminded  me of the old phrase about selling the Brooklyn bridge.  I wonder if this could have inspired the sale of bottled water that's so popular. HERE'S AN INTERESTING ARTICLE Ever since I was a young person, I have used the phrase, “If you believe that, I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell to you”.  The phrase originated because for over a century people have fallen for the con that New York City is selling the Brooklyn Bridge. George C. Parker (1860-1936), a native New Yorker, was responsible for originating the phrase.  Parker, of whose life we know became famous for selling New York City landmarks of all kinds ranging from Madison Square Garden to the Statue of Liberty.  He also sold the Metropolitan Museum of Art and even Grant’s tomb as the general’s grandson! He would set up fake sales offices and forge documents to support his cons. One of his most popular places for spotting rubes or victims was El

Kazoo

I was thinking about learning to play the kazoo. But I don't really like the way it sounds. Maybe I can try it kidding around as a sort of joke. These don't sound too bad.

National Dog Day

It was Yesterday but here's an article and video you may enjoy: NATIONAL DOG DAY National Dog Day on August 26th encourages dog ownership of all breeds. While seeking a new companion, be sure to consider the mutts, mixes, purebreds, and everything in between.  Whether mixed or purebred, embrace the opportunity for all dogs to live a happy, safe, and abuse-free life. They all give us companionship. Additionally, they keep us safe, and they aid those in need. Dogs play. Well, they play many roles in our lives, too! They keep us healthy, both physically and mentally. While many days aim to find loving homes for dogs, this day expands that consideration to look beyond the breed. Look into the heart of the animal. The purpose of the National Dog Day Foundation is to rescue 10,000 dogs each year.
