Wonderful! My husband and I have banana peppers and cherry tomatoes in pots! Just enough for us to enjoy also. Takes a lot of watering though in Georgia heat!!
It's surprising what you can get from a small area. I'm planning the same thing this year, in a raised container on our deck, to try to foil the deer! I'm excited about it. Cucumbers and tomatoes sound like good things to start with.
