Whole screen is best:   No offence to women. It could just as well be a man.  I love the music and  singer.

Waltz of Love by Eugene Doga

I think it's another version of Cinderella's Waltz, but with Eugene Doga's Waltz of Love music instead. I like the energy of this version. Notice how her gown and his collar change color. (Enlarge the video for best view.) Cinderella's Waltz for symphony orchestra

I Found This Fun Looking Dance from India

Bhangra today Bhangra connects to a much deeper set of masculine values. Most of these values are set through labor, industry and self-sufficiency in agriculture, loyalty, independence and bravery in personal, political and military endeavors; and the development and expression of virility, vigor, and honor are common themes. Bhangra referred both to formal male performances and to communal dancing among men and women. In the past 30 years, bhangra has been established all over the world. It has become integrated into popular Asian culture after being mixed with hip hop, house and reggae styles of music. Certain bhangra moves have been adapted and changed over time but at its core remains a sense of cultural identity and tradition. We see bhangra take place mainly in the Punjabi culture. Many people tend to showcase bhangra as a source of joy and entertainment at weddings, parties, and all sorts of celebrations. Many people also do bhangra as a source of exercise, it is an excellent s

NATURE: You Can't Always Get What You Want

The Willow Maid   Slept all day, very tired and weak. But I was able to find this cartoon several days ago.

This Song is Appropriate for the Dummy

I would not want to play.

Lap Harp or Zither or Psaltery...

I really don't know much about playing music. I can't read the notes and I'm not sure if  my hands are agile enough. But when I came across the lap harp while I was looking through Amazon, it seemed easy enough to try. You don't have to know how to read the music sheets and anyone can play it right away. It's sometimes advertised for use by children but I found some videos on Youtube where it was played very well by adults. Anyway, it might encourage me to move on to other easy instruments. Above are photos of my lap harp. As you can see I only have to pick at the notes on the inserted music sheet, easy enough for kids. It's not me playing but here's my skill level: Expert musicians seem to be playing without sheet music: Lamento Di Tristano - 14th century Italian Renaissance tune The man in this video must love the instrument: Right now I'm trying to get my harp in tune. There's a free tuner for the iphone called "Plusadd lite" I had t

CIDP Coming After Me.

I've been so tired the last two weeks. My autoimmune disease CIDP is acting up again. My Physical Therapist told me he's never seen me so tired and to speak with my doctor. I left a message at his office. Maybe the problem will heal itself. I'll keep up with exercise and my blog. Sorry I skipped posting or reading your blogs last week. The CIDP that's coming after me:

When I Get Low, I Get High

Does this song mean that when she gets "low" (sad, depressed), she gets the strength to pull herself up and get "high". Or, does it mean she feels better by taking alcohol and drugs?  Newer video:  Try full screen. "Original" version:  Chick Webb & his Orchestra Ella Fitzgerald - When I Get Low I Get High 1936

Kazoo

I was thinking about learning to play the kazoo. But I don't really like the way it sounds. Maybe I can try it kidding around as a sort of joke. These don't sound too bad.

Swing

It's something new with me how I've become so interested in swing music and dance; especially the newer electro-swing.  Enjoy full screen, if you like it. Dancing Mashup 1930's Style Electro-Swing Dance Freestyle: "Make Swing Great Again"

Not the Original But it Works

It amazes me how well they made it look like they are dancing to this completely different tune. Here's the original:

Animal Soul

I came across this video on YouTube. Is he addicted to his lover or does he love his addiction? Which is it? Some of the lyrics: ~A thousand needles of love~  ~All intravenous at once~ ~Monkey nature of man~ ~Keeps me awake in a dream~ ~To perfectly change this chemical in my brain~ To have a monkey on one's back is 1930's narcotics slang for to "be addicted."  On the video: ~Smoke~ ~Floating through a cemetery~ ~Scary green eyes~  I hope the real meaning is that he is addicted to his lover. The Nightingale

Here's  a romantic song I think you'll enjoy. The Lyrics The Nightingale The Dubliners As I went a walking one morning in May I met a young couple so far did we stray And one was a young maid so sweet and so fair And the other was a soldier and a brave grenadier And they kissed so sweet and comforting As they clung to each other They went arm in arm along the road Like sister and brother They went arm in arm along the road 'Til they came to a stream And they both sat down together, love To hear the nightingale sing Out of his knapsack he took a fine fiddle He played her such merry tunes that you ever did hear He played her such merry tunes that the valley did ring And softly cried the fair maid as the nightingale sings And they kissed so sweet and comforting As they clung to each other They went arm in arm along the road Like sister and brother They went arm in arm along the roa
