Does this song mean that when she gets "low" (sad, depressed), she gets the strength to pull herself up and get "high".
Or, does it mean she feels better by taking alcohol and drugs?

She is finding herself somewhere she should not be. Drugs and alcohol are detours.
ReplyDeleteCould mean anything these days - times and thinking have sure changed by people.
ReplyDeleteNice 2 videos.
Take care.
Pretty sure it's drugs and alcohol.
ReplyDeleteSame thing was said about "Rocky Mountain High" by John Denver. Of course, if you read the lyrics, there is no doubt of his meaning...it was nature all the way that gave him that HIGH!
ReplyDeleteFunny thing about music, you can take different meanings from it, whether or not it was meant that from the lyrics as first written. OR you can take the music and put different lyrics to it. I hope you have heard the song "Bethelemian Rhapsody" where someone changed the lyrics to "Bohemian Rhapsody." I think it is just marvelous.
Either way it's a good song.
ReplyDeletei think can go different for different people
ReplyDeletei find peace more when i am low which sounds weird i even to me :)
