I also like them. I prefer them to the perfectly manicured lawn.
ReplyDeleteMy children call dandelion seeds on the stem 'wishes'. If you pick one and make a wish then blow all the seeds off your wish will come true.

I've always liked dandelions, and once I learned that birds eat the seeds of the mature plants, I liked them even more! We saw a tiny bird picking the seeds out of a seed head last week. I was glad my husband had put off mowing.
