    I'm curious about the background - is that concrete or something else?

      Sorry I'm getting back to you so late. This week I've been having some issues with my health.
      It's the top of a small table made to look like real painted wood, but it's made of some sort of composite material; I'm not sure what.

      Thanks Debra. It's the top of a table made to look like real painted wood. It's some sort of composite material.

      I love looking at it when I pass by the table that it's on. I think it is originally from a necklace.
