It amazes me how well they made it look like they are dancing to this completely different tune. Here's the original:

I came across this video on YouTube. Is he addicted to his lover or does he love his addiction? Which is it? Some of the lyrics: ~A thousand needles of love~  ~All intravenous at once~ ~Monkey nature of man~ ~Keeps me awake in a dream~ ~To perfectly change this chemical in my brain~ To have a monkey on one's back is 1930's narcotics slang for to "be addicted."  On the video: ~Smoke~ ~Floating through a cemetery~ ~Scary green eyes~  I hope the real meaning is that he is addicted to his lover. Don't Forget Your Old Shipmate

I thought about my brother Anthony the other day.  He doesn't live nearby so we only see  each other about once a year.  We don't call each other as often as we should but we still  are brothers. New to Me: Thoughts About Spirals

I came across a web post about spirals that got me thinking about how fascinating they are; in mathematics, science, nature and art. They have something to do with the  Fibonacci   sequence: "Each number in the sequence is the sum of the two numbers that precede it. So, the sequence goes: 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, and so on. The mathematical equation describing it is  X n+2 = X n+1  + X n" It's a little bit too technical for me. I'll have to learn more about that but for now I'll just show the video about spirals. Sorry about the spiral above. It makes it difficult to type or read. Here's the video:

My Freezer Shelf Fell Off Again!

I was used to digging through the freezer of my refrigerator to find what I wanted after the shelf kept falling off its holder.  Items would fall down and between the other shelves below. It was very frustrating. I finally found a fix for this today on the internet.  Here's the video: How to permanently fix falling freezer shelves in GE Profile Refrigerator It worked for me! Last week I posted about the symbols used for washing clothes, Laundry Symbols".  Now I found some symbols used by hobos. For me these symbols are difficult to understand but the descriptions are great.  Their lifestyle is so interesting. Try a full screen and louder. I had to put it on maximum sound level. Nice Commercial

I saw this commercial the other day which got me thinking about TV commercials in general. Here's the nice quiet commercial that I saw. I believe this is some kind of investment company.  Why can't there be more commercials like this instead of screaming? The screaming just makes me want to stay away from anything they'er trying to sell.  I put the volume on mute and wait for it to end. Here's a cute commercial from the past: I suppose some people don't mind. The commercials must work or they wouldn't keep putting them on.

The reaction was caused by the seawater continually ramming into the structures for hundreds of years, allowing the mineral mixture of silica oxides and lime to grow between the volcanic rock aggregate and mortar to develop resistance. “Contrary to the principles of modern cement-based concrete, the Romans created a rock-like concrete that thrives in open chemical exchange with seawater,” lead author Marie Jackson from the University of Utah said in the journal.

Trying my iPhone Camera

I finally bought myself a smartphone. My old flip phone could no longer get charged. I used to call it my "dumb phone" because all I could do with it was make calls and send texts. It had a camera but the images were so small on its screen that I had trouble seeing them. I found the iPhone on Consumer Cellular brand new for a $160.  It can do all the major functions.  I'm not sure what it can't do but it may be the amount of memory. Here are a few photos, not bad. I'm impressed by the video quality. Here's a video of my grandchildren Evie and Miles on Labor Day. There's a boy named Oliver not in the video. He's the son of a friend. I didn't take this last photo of Evie but I want to share it with you.  My son-in-law Ryan Hampton took it.
Our daughter Laurissa is coming down from Brooklyn to visit us tomorrow or Friday.  We'll get to see our grandchildren again, Miles and Evey.  Son-in-law Ryan will take turns with Laurissa driving the six hour trip. I was hoping to give myself the weekly three hour injection of Hizentra today before they got here; don't want to scare the grandchildren with the four injection site tubing coming from my abdomen.  They're only subcutaneous but it might be frightening for them.  It would seem strange to hide in another room. The delivery of the medication and injection tubing never arrived today. There was a mix up by FedEx. The package should be here tomorrow. I have a dentist appointment at 1:30 but there should be enough time to finish the injection before they get here. Just in case you want to see details I have these two videos.
