REFLECTIONS

This is a series I highly recommend. This video may have a few spoilers in it, but not enough to ruin the whole series.

Corroded It fits right under the ice cube/water dispenser. It's where you place your glass to fill it with ice cubs or water. I soaked it in vinegar overnight. It's clean but the finish is partly gone. It still looks bad. I phoned GE for a replacement and the price for a new tray is $60.02! 😧  What? They offered me a special deal price of $49.41.❌ I'm not sure what to do next. At Loews they had nothing to replace it.  I'm thinking of going to Hobby Lobby to see if they have any ideas.  Maybe they haves some sort of silver waterproof paint that will stick to plastic. After spending all that money on the refrigerator you'd think they'd use metal, not plastic. Have any of you had a similar problem? Do you have any ideas?

I think pistachio ice cream tastes a lot like almonds.  Even so I like the flavor and chewing on the pistachios. Do you taste the almond flavor? I wonder how it would taste with only pistachios. These symbols are not clear to me.  I can guess at some but I'm not certain.  How about you? Here is a sort of "test" I set up: It's not finished! For me the written explanations are useful.  I can do without any symbols.  There is no way most of them can be interpreted, so why bother to print them?  (Sorry the chart would not fit without being too difficult to see.) I just realized the use for the symbols.  They are to save space on the clothing label.   I usually just throw the clothes in and turn on the switch so that's why I never thought of it. But then you'd still need a chart to interpret the symbols. Print a copy for yourself if you think it might help.

I never knew there was a different type of keyboard like DVORAK instead of QWERTY (named after the first six letters on the left of the first row) , at least not in English or similar languages. Chinese has a modified QWERTY keyboard something like: Or maybe this keyboard below is purely Chinese: Back to English:  The video below explains why the QWERTY keyboard is used almost 100% today and some future possibilities.  Not changing my keyboard, it's not worth the effort for me .

I'm scheduled to take another EEG exam for three days.  I'll have the electrodes put in tomorrow, wear them all weekend, then have them removed on Monday.  I will go home wearing the wires on my head. It's not painful, just annoying.    This weekend I'll keep learning how to use the new iPhone I just bought.  My flip-phone would not recharge. This is the second flip-phone I've had that did this.  Besides, it was time for me to finally get a "smart phone".  Kidding around I used to call my old phone a "dumb phone" because all it could do was to make and receive calls and text.  It was easy with almost nothing to learn about using it.  The EEG will be checking all the areas of my brain.  I must be in there somewhere. What do you think about the advance of Artificial Intelligence (AI)?  Is it something good or is it too risky? What about the possibility that it is not as developed as they make it out to be?  I feel it could be a great advance for civilization if done carefully.   But consider just as a possibility if the military uses AI  as a weapon?  AI might further develop on its own to take over the world when it reaches the stage where it becomes more intelligent than we are. Lilith I find this legend very interesting and believe it would make a great horror movie.  I'm not very religious so it's mostly just the unexpected idea of a woman created before Eve. The sculpture above is from Notre Dame in Paris.  I wonder if Lilith was the snake who came back to tempt Eve. The video below has a good description of the legend. I also read that the legend of Lilith sets an example for modern liberated women; except for the part about being evil.

I want to try something new. I tried to find an agent for a long time but no luck. I tried selling them on my own as e-books but I did not know how to promote them.  The best benefit was the fun I had in writing them.  Now I just want to organize my notes and safely save the books.  It takes too much time and effort to write such a large project as a novel. Maybe I can try writing short pieces. Yesterday I took a fairly long nap. I tried to make it a 15 minute "power nap" by setting a timer but I kept resetting it until I gave up and slept for a long time.  I can't stop once I start. Sometimes I'm not even tired.  I just take the nap to get energized the way I've read about. In case you've never heard of it a power nap is   "a short sleep taken during the working  day in order to restore one's mental alertness". Some articles I've read claim everyone should take a nap to gain great benefits.  It just doesn't work for me. I feel worse. I feel hungover.  But I don't want to miss out on the benefits. I spent some time looking for an answer. A few quotes about nothing.  I tend to plan to be always doing something.  Feeling guilty about wasting time or missing out has a lot to do with it.   When I do spend time without specific plans I enjoy it. Maybe setting aside more time to just exist would be good. Any thoughts?

I found this image while I was surfing the web yesterday.   It made me wonder what I could find in the eye's reflection.   Some people believe an image of the last thing a dead person saw would be imprinted on his eyes like a photograph.  That's why some murderers would pluck out the eyes of their victims, to avoid evidence.  Of course this is not what really happens. I can see the car more clearly here. The image is starting to blur but I notice another object  even blurrier but starting to take shape. My conclusion is that there are two cars on opposite sides of the street with the open road between them.  It must be a one way street because they are facing the same way. What's on this other side of the eye's reflection?  I see a doorway behind the dark outline of what could be a person's head.  Maybe another doorway or window further down a hallway. Any ideas?
