Ferris Wheel

George Washington Gale Ferris, Jr.

George Washington Gale Ferris, Jr. was an American engineer.
He is mostly known for creating the original Ferris Wheel
for the 1893 Chicago World's Columbian Exposition. Wikipedia

I took these images in Ocean City, New Jersey while visiting my brother and sister-in-law.
The video below is a little shaky at the end when I lost my balance.  Ii was a sort of light show.

  1. I don't mind going on a small Ferris Wheel but big ones scare the crapola out of me. For example, in the UK I did NOT go on the London Eye.

  2. Having never looked up the history of the Ferris wheel I for some reason thought it was the construct of a Frenchman. They are pretty to watch at night when you can really see the light show they produce.

  3. The real big ones are fun but sometimes super duper scary for me as well.
