I was curious, so I went "fishing". This has to be the QUEEN; attractive with smooth skin and blue eyes.. Fierce looking PAWN. KING QUEEN BISHOP I really like the next two pieces. They are very creative, Knight ROOK Sometimes I call him the CASTLE.
Here are my two grand-daughters Evelyn and Adalyn. My grandson Miles is out playing with his friends. He's also affectionate. Sometimes he feeds Adalyn with a baby bottle.
There's a "From Your Drive" message that comes in my email each day. It shows a set of photos in my computer from several years ago. I don't know how it was set up but I like it so I'll leave it. Maybe it came with my computer. It shows both good photos and the worst photos I've ever taken. I must have not deleted them. I'll show some of them both from time to time. This was taken in New York City.
I dabble in my ancestry from time to time. Some of the photographs in my collection are a mystery. My parents passed away some time ago so I have no one to ask.. Now I have to do detective work to figure out what was going on and identify some of the people. It can be enjoyable but also frustrating. My mother is the 4th woman from the left. She's the pretty one with a smile, white shoes and socks. I have no idea who the other women are. The Saturnia had a twin sister ship called the Vulcania. The life preserver indicates the ship they were on. They were Italian built luxury liners. I don't know how my mother could afford it. I'm not sure if the ship was coming to America or returning to Italy. She came each way. Here are some videos I found on the web: Luxury Interior The Engine compartment Here are some luxurious rooms: Dining Dining Ballroom Interesting, isn't it?
I looked up at the window while we were having dinner at a local restaurant a few years ago. The shadows are from the seats for outside dining. The sun is at just the right location and the colored blinds make it surrealistic.
I hope to get back into photography as a hobby when I'm feeling better. But here are some photos I took years ago. Up top I put a cap on my grandson several years ago. This is looking outside a window at New York Hospital. I love the geometric designs. Here's a different shot with some editing. From my backyard. Decorative ornament and its shadow. Take care, John
I remember how slow it was to dial a number. Putting your finger into a hole, spinning the dial, then waiting for what seemed like forever for it to return. Some phones had the phone's number under the cover in the center of the phone. It was printed by the owner. The times were less rushed back then so it really didn't matter. It looks warm and cozy for me. I guess I'm showing my age. Anyone else remember? Take care, John
I set up this photo from a miniature mask and the reflection of another mask in a mirrored ornament. I used red plastic to get the red eyes. You have to click on some pop down links to get to the final location. I don't know why, something new. Some links are intense! Full screen & sound are often better.
