Thank you Jan.
DeleteOh, that is very different. I can't make out if it's a mirror with an image on the inside that we can't see or how they got it too look like the face is looking in the mirror etc. Scary for true John. Do you know how they got that reflection? Love to know.
ReplyDeleteSure RPD.
DeleteAll of these items are about 3 to 4 inches long.
First I placed the clown holding a mirror ornament standing up. The center of the clown ornament is a real mirror.
Then I lined up the gold colored face mask so its reflection could be seen through my camera.
I positioned the white face mask leaning against the clown in the first photo.
I put it flat in the second photo.
Now for the red glowing eyes I placed a red plastic sheet behind the gold face mask in such a position that it would catch the light and glow with a red color.
In the first photo you can see the bottom curve of the clown through the top eye of the white face mask.
BUT WHAT'S REALLY STRANGE IS HOW IN THE SECOND PHOTO THE RIGHT EYE OF THE WHITE FACE MASK HAS A BLUE SHINE TO IT, JUST LIKE A REAL EYE!!!
Maybe it's due to the ribbon coming through its eyes across her nose.
But why is it glowing with a deeper blue than the ribbon? Why does it seem to have a pupil?
Very creepy, and I normally love creepy.
ReplyDeleteI love scary things as long as I know it's not real.
