Last night my daughter and son-in-law's dog York passed away. It was the same as the death of a close friend.
Thankfully during the last few months he was doing well and did not suffer. He died on the way to the veterinarian in my son-in-law's car. At least he did not die alone.
We'll miss him.
Ohh, I am so sorry about the death of York! I know how hard and tragic to loose your dog. I lost my first dog Shady and it took a long time to accept his death. Right now I have my Tasha and she is getting older.
York was a wonderful and loving dog. I can tell it looking at his eye.
I know you will miss him. He was lucky that you all love him very much.
I'm very sorry about York. I know all of you will miss him greatly and I'm sure you have been left with some wonderful memories and photos to cherish for life. A sad loss John.
So sorry about York. It is difficult to lose a companion who has been with you for years. Our little benji dog (Tiffany) died in my arms of congestive heart failure while waiting for the Vet to arrive. I took her home on the front seat with me and cried all the way home. I know York will be missed.
