Here's a good site for quickly looking over historical events. I was never a good student of history. It just wasn't that exciting for me. But this site interests me because it's brief and to the point.
I hated history in school. They gave me facts but little else. I need to know how people felt at the time. I want to know how the events we now call history actually affected them. In wars both sides knew they were right so how did they acclimate to the outcome? I now read a lot of biographies about the times in history I want to know about now and things are becoming more clear to me.
