Another Treatment



Tomorrow I go for another Intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) treatment.  It takes about 4 hours.  I feel stronger so it's definitely worth it.  Luckily it is covered by my insurance.

    I know nothing about this condition. Are these treatments going to be for a short time or are they a lifelong thing? Is the condition temporary or permanent? I believe you mentioned it before but my old brain does not always retain.

      It's a lifelong condition. I've had this treatment only once before and it gave me bad headaches for a week so I'm a little nervous.

      Thanks Debra. At first I thought I only imagined getting better but my wife says she noticed an improvement.

    Good to know you feel stronger and that the treatment is covered by your insurance.

      Thanks Nancy. Without the insurance I would not be able to afford it.
