Turtle Railways


I think this is a great idea.  Japan Railways put these pathways in to prevent the turtles from being run over by passing trains.

    Too bad politicians here care little for actual people, the turtles don't have a chance when it comes to congress.

    I do like the idea though. I don't think I've ran over any animals with my car by accident, but I've had a few close calls.

    I wonder who was so worried about these little turtles that they came up with the idea and then made it a reality.
