A Surprising Movie "Pet"

At first I did not want to watch this movie on cable TV.  It seemed like just another version of the same old plot.  Man abducts a woman, puts her in a cage; but she escapes at the end. Lynette wanted to watch it so I agreed. At worst I'd fall asleep.

Without spoiling the plot all I can say is that this movie is different. It's definitely worth a look.

"This haunting, psychological horror follows Seth, a lonely man working in an animal shelter. His monotonous routine is broken one day when he bumps into Holly, a girl from school who he soon becomes obsessed with. However, when she rejects his advances, Seth's obsession reaches a terrifying new level, with Holly hiding secrets of her own."

  1. Doesn't sound like my kind of movie either. If I get the chance I will watch it.

THE UNWILLING KILLER

Which one is scarier? I asked the AI (Artificial Intelligence) on Bing  for a scary image of a man in an alleyway.

Luna Moth, Ready for Takeoff

Its antennas are out The body seems to have some sort of "fur" puffing up. Wings are lifted off door. Here it is just before takeoff. It was too fast for me to get pictures. It flew down to the concrete. Then up against the siding. Then flew away. My friend was gone, but I enjoyed its visit.

I Did It Again!

I seem to fall every six months or so.  I'm hesitant to use a cane because it makes me feel so old.  But it's much better than losing my balance.  Maybe I can find a cane that looks good and not make me feel frail. Luckily it happened just as I got to the treatment center in the hospital.  A man and his daughter stopped and left their car to help me.  My glasses and cell phone were in the street. The nurses at the IVIG infusion area took me to the emergency room where a CT scan showed no broken skull where I landed on the back of my head.  My blood work was good. My IVIG treatment was rescheduled for tomorrow.  No luck having it cancelled for this month!
