How can we know if what we see, hear, etc. is actually real? All of our senses are dependent on our brain to interpret the data.
Light, sound, touch are all converted into electrical signals.
We are living inside a simulation of the world that our brain creates. But is it a close interpretation? Is it all delusional? Can it be altered by someone else?
Any thoughts?
So when I burn my hand on the stove element, it's just an illusion?
ReplyDeleteI don't know. Maybe the stove element, your hand, the pain is an illusion; like a bad dream.
DeleteThe brain does so many things and if it's wiring gives out which it does in some people then problems occur.
ReplyDeleteIt's very complicated.
DeleteI love the little guy from Men In Black. He was only there for a short part of a scene but he's one of my favorites.
