Did they still live in Italy and that's why you never met them?
ReplyDeleteMy grandmother died early of scarlet fever. She was in Italy at the time.
DeleteMy grandfather became very ill in America. He moved back to Italy to see if going back to his homeland would help. Back again to the United States, he died.
It was all before I was born.
Lovely looking couple John and obviously there were Italian. May they RIP.
ReplyDeleteThank you
DeleteGood looking people. I had one grandfather who died before I was born. I've never even seen a picture of him. You are fortunate to have the pictures.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I did not lose them when I moved many years ago
DeleteLovely photos, John. Do you see any of their features in yourself?
ReplyDeleteHer eyes and nose are similar to mine.
DeleteJohn, you had a beautiful Grandmother. Too bad you never had the chance to meet her. I'm sure she would have loved you.
ReplyDeletethis is always joyous to look at photos of grandparents even you haven't met them ,it makes me sad that i could not see or meet my paternal grandparents
