  1. Have you ever zazzled basil? It's sort of a flash deep fry. They make wonderful garnishing. Pretty container.

  2. John, your basil and parsley look good. These are the herbs that do best for me also (although I usually grow the curly parsley). Rosemary is pretty hardy. And I like to grow lavender because it smells so good (and you can use lavender flowers in cooking... I make lavender scones).

    1. I've heard of using lavender in cooking but I've never tried it. It would go well in a scone. Can you use the lavender and not just the flowers?
