I've always liked dandelions, and once I learned that birds eat the seeds of the mature plants, I liked them even more! We saw a tiny bird picking the seeds out of a seed head last week. I was glad my husband had put off mowing.

ReplyDeleteVery interesting learning all about dandelions.
ReplyDeleteI like and think a lawn looks pretty with the yellow poke-a-dots of dandelions.
I also like them. I prefer them to the perfectly manicured lawn.
ReplyDeleteMy children call dandelion seeds on the stem 'wishes'. If you pick one and make a wish then blow all the seeds off your wish will come true.
ReplyDeleteThey are delicate but the do look nice.
ReplyDeletei always found them fascinating !
ReplyDeleteI love dandelions too, but my nose hates their puffy white spores! One thing I'd love to try is making a dandelion wine one of these days!
ReplyDeleteI love the colour of dandelions, and they always remind me of childhood days …
