I remember how slow it was to dial a number. Putting your finger into a hole, spinning the dial, then waiting for what seemed like forever for it to return. Some phones had the phone's number under the cover in the center of the phone. It was printed by the owner. The times were less rushed back then so it really didn't matter. It looks warm and cozy for me. I guess I'm showing my age. Anyone else remember? Take care, John
